Bio from the official website:
Potabilizadora begins on November 1992, when Manolo, Fernando and Javier, joined some afternoon to play grindcore under the alias of Pancreas. This project wasn't very successful, so at the end of April '93 Manolo and Javier decided to try joining some project together. That's how Potabilizadora begins.
Manolo 1993 Armed with the out of tuned Manolo's bass, some rhythmic heavy and crushing bases plus their velvety voices. First Potabilizadora demo tape called "60 songs demo" is out about the end of May'93 released through Cadaverizer Records. The recording wasnt bad at all, but with quite long tracks and a bit poor sound quality.
Just one month later, comes out the 2nd demo called "134 songs demo" and released through Cadaverizer Records again. On this demo sound quality is improved because of the use of a 4 tracks mixer. Shorter and less monotonous tracks than the 1st demo and getting closer to the sound we were looking for.
1994 These early demo tapes had a quite a good response on noise freaks then, this fact encouraged us a lot to going on with this. At that point We were also playing on Genital Masticator and Jangle..
About July and August 1993 we recorded more tracks. 31 for Cadaverizer Spasm Compilation tape on Cadaverizer Records, 51 for Despojo de Ira Compilation #1 on Despojo de Ira Prod., 2 minutes for another comp tape on OLO Prod., plus 176 tracks for the Three Way Tape with Extreme Hair Stench (GER) y Machakakraneos (SPA) on Cadaverizer Records.
1994 After being stopped for a while, we are joining the project again at the middle of 1994 with a great investment, which helped us to improve, make some evolution on our noise and making it more fun and enjoyable. It was Yamaha RX8 rhythm programmer, opening new horizons on our style, always defined by ourselves as Raw Noise.
This way is how we recorded a split demo tape with Ecuatorian band callled Sociedad De Rechazo, released again on Cadaverizer Records. This one is followed by "Despercatos Asofäl, Noghs!" another recording called "Desxförates Ombus Incape: Abo Ter" which was supposed to be on a flexi-ep but for some reasons never got released. Then, on October 1994, we are taking part on a lot of compilations and recording new stuff for B-Gore Records, Bacteria Records and Z.D.P. Records.
Some weird and interesting noise sessions were done, experimenting with electronic drum'n'bass, grind, stupidity elements and noisecore. All this stuff recorded on 1995 stayed unreleased and after them Manolo was moving form the island fact that forced that Potabilizadora split up.
2004 On 2004, it was pure chance that Manolo and Javier met again, and actually they were bitten by the noise bug. Then, with more and better technical resources, they start on making new songs more in the cyber grind noise industrial electronic influenced.
2006 Also, compiling from released and unreleased 1993 to 1995 stuff came out "2004 Promo CDR" as an unofficial Cadaverizer Records release, which was a very low run distribution.
2 years after been playing with new sounds, we are still destroying our instruments. Nowadays we are working on grind-noise-experimental songs we've been doing last 2 years and recording new stuff on our Raw Noise style
At this point, we are expecting on how our story keeps goin on.

Not much info here (unless the person who posted these files in the comment of another post would like to provide some). These recordings are really strange, lo-fi, and sloppy in the best way. Enjoy it.

An interesting grind / noise / experimental split. I can't seem to find any info on this release in particular and I'm not sure if Smegma is even the same band as the the one in the links I've listed but it's quality stuff.

It took a while for this collection to grow on me. It's very silly, nonsensical (but thats sort of the point), and completely immature. Two thumbs up.

Solid crusty d-beat goodness in a short but sweet demo. I found this on Damaging Noise (A cool blog by the way) but it was all in one track. So I separated the tracks and reposted it here.

From the Reverb Nation page:
Leprosy are a punk band from Melbourne Australia who formed in late 2009. Their sound incorporates elements of UK82 (Disorder, Chaos UK), Finnish punk (KAAOS,Tampere SS) and D-beat (Discharge, Mob 47). They originally formed as a three piece with Ryan on guitar, Jake on drums and Luke on Bass. They then got another Bass player named Burn and Luke took over vocals. After releasing a demo tape and a split cassette with Californian punk band the Helpless, Jake Lewis the original drummer left the band and was replaced by Jake Vining formally of Beanfeast, Suffer and Voodoo Lovecats. Leprosy's music is categorised by abrasive guitar noise, thumping bass lines and literal annihilation of the drum kit along with a chaotic howl of distortion.

Old Lady Drivers - Demo (1990)

 Similar to: Grindcore
 Website: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=2179

This is some of the most kick ass old-school stuff I have heard in a long time. A real gem. Its really similar to grind but isn't quite there.

From the Encyclopedia Metallum page:

The band were originally called Regurgitation, and recorded the widely circulated demo tape "Bathrooms Rule" in late 80's. This demo attracted the attention of Earache to their brand of humorous super-fast grind.

For the album ‘Lo Flux Tube’ (1991), the band recruited Jason Everman on bass. Before joining OLD , Jason was briefly in Nirvana, and is in fact pictured on the front sleeve of their debut "Bleach" on Sub Pop.

Hideous Mangleus - All Your Friends Are Dead (Demo version and re-release version)

                   http://www.hideousmangleus.com/

Really solid old-school deathgrind. I've included the demo version which is more raw and the re release which has more songs and better recording quality.

From the bands website:

Hideous Mangleus formed in March of 1989. After a few line-up changes, we finalized the roster, which consisted of Sam Biles - Vocals, (Jason) Feev(ey) - Guitars, Joel "Skum" Bonde - Bass and Curt Bonde - Drums. About a year into our travels, we recorded our first demo entitled "All Your Friends Are Dead," which, with the help of friends like Chaotic Plague and Deceased among others, started to circulate through the worldwide underground. It became Hideous' first introduction to the DethHeads of the world. The demo was well received, but didn't necessarily capture Hideous' live sound. Between the originality of the name, music and demented title, even with questionable production it still remains a closet classic to these days.
So later that same year, we again ventured into Bob McCutcheons' studio to record the "We Live… You Sleep" EP, which included 4 demo tracks and the new track "Question Your Motives," which went on to be a true underground classic track. It was released by Thrash Records (France) and really started the two words Hideous and Mangleus flying around the underground. We really hit the mark on our sound and it showed. This opened up the opportunity to share our music with metal/grind fans from all over the world. We also got the opportunity to gig with great bands like Deceased, Exit 13, Chaotic Plague, ShitScum, A.C., Rottrevore, Bathym, etc.

Advance tape cover for "Unearthing Grandma's Grave" EP
About a year later, we went back to McCutcheon Studios in Pittsburgh, PA for the third and final time to record what became our best received release to date, with the possible exception of the "Friends" CD '96 or the current retrospective release "Shadows That Kill." We really pushed the envelope on our intensity and switched the equation from 4 old tunes and one new to 4 new and one old. And the new shit was tight as fuck and showed everyone this was no fluke. Hideous was here to grind. Before '93, we got to play with more great bands like Incantation, Phlegm, H.O.G., Submachine, Brutal Truth, Derketa, etc.

Around '93, "real life" and personal issues slowed down things for Hideous for nearly two years. But, we had a deal with Matthias Weigand that we had yet to honor for a full-length CD. So, in '95 we once again got things up and running again and recorded the "All Your Friends Are Dead" CD. We figured with such a strong name, and the nature of the release, that we may as well recycle the name and the songs from the original demo. For this release, we went to Rock House Recording Studios in Belle Vernon, PA to work with a local guitar icon, Darren Lazerri (Axtion, Angus Scrimm). The sessions were a bit tedious, but overall were a pleasant experience. This release was well received and gave fans a chance to hear all their fave Hideous tunes all in one package. We later questioned the production and our attitude in general concerning this release, but all things considered, it came out pretty good, and it gave Hideous fans their first chance to hear some new Hideous for the first time in something like 2-3 years.

"All Your Friends Are Dead" '96

After the "Friends" CD, we more or less disbanded. There were occasional practices and shows here and there over the next 8 years, but nothing steady or permanent resulted. Sam Biles has participated in three bands, Goblin, Splatterhead and Nest, all of which are disbanded now. And Joel, Feev and Curt started another band called MorgueMart.

We'd like to give a big thanks to all the fans and underground maniacs for their continued support and understanding over the years. Keep posted to the News page for any current or future developments. Grind On!!!
